In the spirit of "OTP - Of The People," a fictional revolution portrayed in ISHI The Rising, 3.1 Press is holding a Book Launch/Literary Revolution event at our favorite coffee shop in Venice, Groundwork Coffee on Rose Avenue. With the beat poets and counter revolutionaries of the 60s in mind, we have gathered together some of the homegrown talents that only Venice can offer to speak on Thursday night. We have everything from musicians, poets, and storytellers, to magicians, historians, and stand-up comedians. Many of these talented people have been featured on the pages of 3.1 Venice magazine (31venice.com).
ISHI may be a work of fiction but it has parallels in the real world - just as the real world seems to have parallels in fiction these days.
